Blooming Brilliant: Easter Tablescaping Ideas for a Floral Feast
Spring has officially sprung, which means it’s time to shake off the winter blues and deck your table with fresh, joyful Easter blooms! Whether you're hosting a full Easter feast or just fancy making your Sunday brunch extra special, we’ve got some blooming brilliant floral ideas to turn your tablescape into a springtime spectacle.
Bud Vases: A mini Easterland
Why settle for one big centrepiece when you can scatter beauty all over? Bud vases are your best friends when it comes to effortless elegance. You can find ours on our website or gather a collection of small glass bottles, jam jars, or even quirky little pots, and pop in single stems of seasonal flowers like daffodils, tulips, and narcissi. Mix heights, colours, and textures for a display that feels relaxed, natural, and bursting with springtime charm.
Tulip Reflexing: A floral glow-up
Want to give your tulips a little extra flair? Tulip reflexing is the trick you never knew you needed. Gently peel back the outer petals of your tulips to create an open, lily-like effect, instantly making them look fuller and more dramatic. This simple hack takes your tulips from sweet to showstopping in seconds and adds a touch of luxury to your Easter spread.
Egg-cellent little vases
This year, don’t toss out those eggshells after making your Easter bakes—rinse them out and turn them into the cutest tiny vases! Carefully crack eggs near the top, empty them out (omelettes, anyone?), and give them a gentle wash. Pop them into egg cups or nestle them in moss and fill them with small flowers like lisianthus, eucalyptus, or alstroemeria. It’s a sweet, sustainable, and seriously charming touch for your Easter table.
Flower Crowns: Not just for festivals
Easter is all about celebrating new beginnings, so why not crown yourself (and your guests) with fresh flowers? Make simple flower crowns using a base of floral wire, weaving in delicate flowers (from your Freddie’s box) and greenery like waxflower, alstroemeria, or limonium. Not only do they make for gorgeous photos, but they also add a touch of whimsy to your Easter festivities.
Floral Easter Baskets: The ultimate table centrepiece
If you love the idea of bringing the garden to your table, a floral Easter basket is the way to go. Simply line the bottom of a wicker basket with foil, add a layer of soil, and plant cheerful flowers like daffodils, hyacinths, or tulips. Tuck moss into any gaps to create a lush, finished look. The best part? You can replant the flowers in your garden after Easter, so this beauty lasts beyond the big day.
So, whether you're going big with a floral extravaganza or keeping it simple with delicate touches, these Easter tablescaping ideas will bring the joy of spring right to your table. Happy Easter and happy blooming!
