Gather Around the Easter Table
This Easter, invite your friends, family, and third cousins to gather around a fabulously set table brimming with spring flowers. Get inspired with our curated Easter tablescape and create your very own interpretation to wow your pals with.
Setting your Colour Palette
Set the tone of your Easter tablescape by choosing a colour theme. We’ve gone for a vibrant and lively colour palette here focussing on canary and butter yellows, with hints of salmon-peachy and leafy green shades. We adore how the pink accent flowers pop against it.
But you get to be creative here - you can either pick your favourite bunch from our seasonal collection of arrangements, for instance, and choose to set your table accordingly - or match your flowers to the colours you already have and love: your favourite special occasion plates, placemats, or vases. We recommend to match the crockery to your colour theme and bring out the playful contrasts with other decorative details.

Styling your Stems
Once you’ve chosen your flowers and settled on your colour story, it’s time to think about styling your stems. Pick a few differently-sized vessels you like that go with your palette to spread your stems across the table. While creating one stunning floral centrepiece can look great on a dining table, it’s not the best choice for a tablescape meant for gathering around. By dotting your flowers on the table in bud vases, you’ll keep it light and airy for conversations to flow through and you can still add accents with bigger vases on the ends of your table. When you’re cutting and arranging your flowers, play with different heights and stem combinations to really bring out the vibrancy of your flowers.
Adding your Decorative Details
For this particular tablescape, we’ve gone fun and playful with our detailing: little nests with easter eggs and textile carrots. While you don’t want to overload the table, a few of those lighthearted Easter accents really lean into the theme, the sweetness of spring, and the colour palette nicely.
Picking your Patterns & Textures
When you choose your decorative accents, also consider the patterns and textures. This can add depth and visual interest to your Easter table. We’ve mixed and matched here with striped vases and gingham carrots that pick up the salmon and peach hues, as well as yellow crockery, napkins, and glasses that emphasise the primary colour of our tablescape.
Additionally, light green glassware and bud vases reflect the other colours beautifully. Don’t be afraid to go a bit wild and unexpected with patterns here - the key here is staying in the same colour world of your flowers, but presenting them in different patterns for a beautifully vibrant table. In terms of textures, we’ve chosen a linen tablecloth and napkins to go with the lightness of spring.
Then it’s time to gather ‘round the table and enjoy your Easter feast among florals and delightful little details!
