A rich harvest with fresh crops and jewel tones

‘Tis the season - for cabbages and their shades of deep purples and greens. It’s no wonder brassica is our star stem at the moment; its fantastic colours and standout leaves are the highlight for any table.

Inspired by this decorative cabbage, we’ve created a tablescape that will convince even the pickiest guests to eat their greens (and purples).

Put Mother Nature at the heart

Who said you can only use cabbages, aubergines and their jewel-coloured friends for cooking? They also make stunning and surprising decorations for your table, perfect to celebrate the abundance of the harvest season.

Explore patterned textiles

A natural take on late autumn calls for napkins and tablecloths that add that farm to table mood. Choose gingham or floral prints in those lovely deep shades

Think purple

Picking up those deep aubergine tones really gives a tablescape that perfect late autumn vibe - glassware in these shades add sparkling elegance while mood lighting adds an autumnal glow.

Fun dishes welcome

Cabbage-like tableware became popular in Portugal in 1884 when Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro began producing distinctive green ceramic cabbage and lettuce-shaped pieces. In 1960s America, similar pieces became a social status symbol and now, they are the trend of the season adding some fun into the meal.

Go for perfection

No tablescape is complete without the stunning stems in your latest box. With our tips and tricks your guests will be left impressed. Whether it’s in an eye-catching vase, using a flower frog or spread about in bud vases, these lush stems and full brassica are guaranteed to turn heads this season.
