Autumn, Served: Our Recipe
for the Perfect Tablescape

As October falls, autumn invites us all to slow down and gather round the table. From patterned linens and glowing tones to flowers scattered like falling leaves, here’s how we’re styling our dinner parties this month: cosy, colourful and ready for cake. Pull up a chair and join us.

Complement your flowers

Pick your flowers, then choose a colour palette that best complements them. We went with raspberry and ginger for a sweet, autumnal feel. Berry pinks bring vibrancy, and those rich, orange tones toast the season with warmth.

Lay it down

When it comes to choosing your perfect tablecloth, consider playful patterns. We opted for a swirly, marbled design which feels both elevated and charmingly spontaneous.

& double down

Whether it’s with the patterns you choose or colour scheme, we love selecting plates, fabrics and crockery that clash and match in equal measure, like all the best dinner guests should.

Play with heights

We used a flower frog for today’s look as we love the effortless feel they bring – allowing each stem to pop with sculptural precision – while keeping a few flowers back for bud vases.

Add movement

If you fancy adding a natural flow to your tablescape, try bud vases – cutting your stems nice and low and dotting them randomly across the setting. They’re the perfect finishing touch, letting conversation and flowers bloom without blocking the view.

Let there be cake

We couldn't help ourselves when we found this perfectly suited two-tone cake. Tie things together with your comestibles for bonus points.
